Preparing Students for Success through Mentoring, Readiness and Wellness
The overarching goal of the KEDC’S ELEVATE GEAR UP project is to increase the number of underserved students’ postsecondary access and success by improving students’ social emotional learning, academic, and career development through early exposure for students and their families to college options, academic support, and financial aid guidance, ultimately encouraging them to pursue higher education. With KEDC’S ELEVATE GEAR UP, 12 districts in eastern and central Kentucky will experience an authentic, transformational impact in post-secondary access and success.
